Lego Brickumentary Screenings and Build Offs

A Lego Brickumentary is coming to Art House in April! We moved up our Saturday showtimes to make it easier for families with children to attend. To help celebrate the iconic toy known as Lego, we are inviting patrons to bring in Lego builds to screenings. Each screening has a theme.

April 9th 7pm showing theme – Vehicles (cars, space ships, bikes, etc)

April 10th 5pm showing theme – Plants (create miniature landscapes or focus on one plant)

April 16th 7pm showing theme – Functional (desk organizers, candy dispensers, whatever you think of as long as it has a job)

April 17th 5pm showing theme – Animals (Build a dog, cat, or any animal you want)

April 23rd 2pm showing theme – Contraptions (catapults, clocks, short marble runs. Any contraptions that throw/ project another item MUST USE SAFE ITEMS such as cotton balls, foam, or nerf darts.)

April 24th 5pm showing theme – Buildings (go all out on one building or bring in a small cityscape.)

All builds must easily fit into the space, and be small enough to be displayed on a tabletop. Builds should be turned in before each screening with the participants name and age. Multiple age brackets will be created as participation requires. Winners will be picked by audience vote after each screening and the winner will get their picture taken with their creation for our facebook page and bragging rights!
